Emmaus Correspondence School went international in 1947 when missionary Cyril Brooks translated What the Bible Teaches into Tagalog and began using it as a follow up course to their radio programs on Radio School of the Air in Manila, Philippines.

Over 50 years later more than 26,000 courses a year still go out through this method, but now there are Emmaus courses being distributed and used in many ways in 110 countries and over 125 languages.

You can travel the Emmaus world on the map below and find most of our directors. Some are in countries that are restricted or closed to the gospel and do not appear. Many directors oversee multiple Emmaus centers and distribution points from which over 1.3 million courses a year reach people who want to study God’s Word systematically with a teacher to answer their questions and disciple them. Over 3,500 courses are started every day of the year.

Pray this will grow. Pray that God will transform lives as they study His Word! Pray that God will raise up more to partner with us in this ministry: directors to open Emmaus in new countries; correctors to help in every country; and for many to give financially to support this work around the world.
